Interface & Design

Grammarly has a very simple interface which is one of its best features. It seeks to save your time by checking your writing quickly and accurately so the interface should be as clean as possible. In this regard, Grammarly differs from Prowritingaid in two aspects: design and plug-in. Compared with Prowritingaid, there are no ads on the interface of Grammarly which means that you can focus on editing your writing without any distractions; Also it provides a desktop application for Windows and Mac which allows users to check their documents offline and then upload them online later if they find errors.

Accuracy

Both Grammarly and Prowritingaid have the option to check your writing for errors in context. These online grammar checkers perform this service by using advanced algorithms that detect grammatical mistakes as well as contextual errors such as wordiness, redundancy, subject-verb agreement, etc. Even though both tools include a correction feature, Prowritingaid doesn’t reveal the correct sentence. It only underlines the mistakes and you need to click on them to see what’s wrong with your writing.

Grammarly has a wider range of helpful features: punctuation checker, plagiarism detector, dictionary, verb conjugator, etc., which is why it seems better to use. Grammarly vs ProwritingAid: Conclusion
