For any PC gamer, finding the right chair is essential. Not only does it have to be comfortable, but it also has to keep you in good health while seated at your desk for hours on end. One of the best chairs out there is the AndaSeat T-Compact Chair, which sports a racing car design that costs $249.95 at this time.
So as any gamer would do, I bought one for myself and put it to the test to see just how good of a chair this actually is.
This chair is easy enough to assemble with basic tools—it took me about 30 minutes with only a screwdriver needed. It has a racing car seat-style design with a 360-degree rotating and height-adjustable armrest. The chair is made of breathable mesh fabric and has extra thick padding on the back and bottom for added comfort.
You can adjust the angle of the seat and armrests as well as raise or lower it. If your desk is at the correct height, you won’t need to raise or lower the chair at all. At its lowest height, the chair sits about 7 inches off the ground and 12 inches at maximum height.
I’ve sat in this chair for hours on end with no issues, but it’s important to find the right position for you. The first thing I did was sit down and wiggle around to get comfortable before tightening all the bolts properly.
The back is extra wide to provide excellent support while you’re sitting forward at your desk playing video games. The lumbar support also keeps your lower back in place, which is especially important for gamers who spend a lot of time sitting at their desk.
The only downside to the chair design is that there isn’t much room for moving around or getting up if you need to stretch—which I do every now and then since it’s not an executive-style chair.
The armrests rotate all the way up and down, which is great for giving yourself a bit of extra room to move around. The height is adjustable as well, so you can change it to your needs. I’m tall (6’1″), but my arms are pretty long as well. This doesn’t give me an issue at all, thanks to the rotating armrests. It lets me move it out of the way when I need more room or bring it closer when I’m playing a game that requires accurate shots.
This chair is one of the most comfortable chairs I’ve ever sat in—and I’ve tried many different types and styles over the years. Not only does this seat look great, but it’s also very functional for PC gaming sessions. The stitching on the back looks awesome as well.
I bought mine in white, but you can buy it in black if you prefer that colour instead. The colour options are limited compared to other gaming chairs with hundreds of designs to choose from—but there are enough to satisfy most gamers.
The seat looks like a racing car seat with the extra cushioning on the back for comfort—especially when sitting forward at your desk playing games. The lumbar support is included in this design, so you get more than just an awesome looking chair. It’s designed to keep your lower back and hips in place while you sit for hours on end without getting up.
One thing I don’t like about this chair is that there aren’t any armrests obviously built onto it—aside from those which rotate which you can see above. This means having to buy additional armrests if I want them or using my current ones, which doesn’t work very well with this chair because of its racing car design and wide back. Everything has to be able to move, so it really limits your options for adding additional armrests without having them look awkward.
The mesh fabric makes it easier to stay cool under pressure, which is important for long gaming sessions. I’ve struggled to find a good chair that’s up to the task of keeping me comfortable during late-night play sessions and this one definitely does the job well.
It looks great and it’s functional—which is exactly what you need in a gaming chair. It’s easy to move around (not that you would need to if you get the right height for your desk) and it won’t slide across the floor when you’re not sitting in it.
The breathable mesh fabric keeps you cool while playing games, which is especially important during long sessions where every moment counts. If you want to increase your kill/death ratio or get that new high score, you need to stay focused.
There are more expensive chairs out there with all kinds of bells and whistles, but this one is simple—and it gets the job done. It’s not flashy; it’s just a chair designed for comfortable gaming sessions without breaking the bank.
Should You Buy It?
I’m not paid to write reviews of products, so I can tell you honestly that this gaming chair is worth your money. It’s durable, comfortable, and functional at the same time—which are all good reasons to buy it.
There are different brands out there with higher price tags for no reason other than having a popular name attached to the product. Trust me when I say that this chair will do everything you need it to and then some.
It’s also a great looking chair, even if I’m not using the armrests with it—which is why most gamers with racing-style chairs won’t need them. This one does exactly what you would expect from a high-quality gaming chair and it doesn’t break down after a few months of use.
I’ve used this one for years and I still love it as much as I did when I first got it. It’s not fancy or flashy; it’s just comfortable and easy to adjust to your needs. If you’re looking for an affordable, yet high-quality gaming chair, then look no further.
