CETRION

Cetrion is an Elder Goddess, sister to Shinnok, and Daugther of Kronika. She was one of the deities responsible for Shinnok’s banishing to the Netherrealm. Her core beliefs center on keeping balance in the world. But beyond that, she will always be loyal to her mother Kronika. She went as far as to betray other Elder Gods to help further Kronikas plan for a New Era. A pursuit that would eventually weaken her.

LIU KANG

Liu Kang is a Shaolin monk and former member of the White Lotus Society who had been trained alongside Kung Lao, Tanya, and Kitana in martial arts. Liu Kang was once chosen by Raiden to compete in the Mortal Kombat tournament after Liu Kang defeated Kung Lao. Although he did not win the tournament, his efforts did allow him to assist Raiden and Earthrealm’s warriors to defeat Shao Kahn. He is a returning character from the previous game and has some new moves which make him more powerful than before!

JACQUI BRIGGS

Jacqui Briggs is the daughter of Jax. Jacqui was raised around guns and martial arts growing up. She entered the Outworld Civil War on Shinnok’s side, but after learning what Shang Tsung had done to Kitana she decided to help Johnny Cage get her sister back. When the war ended with Shinnok’s defeat she, her family, and many others were freed from their brainwashing. Jacqui is back in MK11 with some great new moves to help make her stronger than before!

GERAS

Geras is a god of time in the Mortal Kombat universe. He rules over one of the pocket realms of existence, which is essentially a small piece of reality he can control. He is able to create time distortions that slow or speed up the passing of time within his realm. The same works for any individuals that enter his domain as well, which he often uses to his advantage in battle by slowing down opponents so they are unable to react to his attacks.

FUJIN

Fujin is a wind God and Raiden’s right-hand man. He’s been a part of the MK storyline since Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub Zero in 1997. He was originally a member of the Oni along with his brother, the thunder god known as Raijin. When Shinnok threatened to take over Earthrealm, Fujin answered Raiden’s call to arms. Since then he’s been a loyal soldier for the side of good. He is a fan-favorite character and is back in MK11 with some new moves that will make him stronger than ever!

The Joker

Joker is Batman’s arch-nemesis, hailing from Gotham City. Joker first appeared in Batman #1 in 1940. This particular character is the leader of his own gang and has made several attempts to take over Gotham City while facing off against Batman. Some of his most notable missions have been stealing a germ warfare weapon, taking over television broadcasting, poisoning people with Smylex, crashing an air-born Batmobile, attempting destruction using different bombs, and an attempt to turn Gotham into a “Jokercity”. Joker is back in MK11 with some new moves to help make him stronger than ever!

Jade

Jade is a video game character who was introduced in Mortal Kombat II. She is an assassin hired by Shao Kahn to kill the Great Kung Lao. Despite her loyalty to Shao Kahn, she still respected Kung Lao and had a strong friendship with Kitana, who was in love with Kung Lao. Jade is back in MK11 with some new moves to help make her stronger than ever!

SUB-ZERO

Sub-Zero is a Lin Kuei warrior who debuted in Mortal Kombat back in 1992. His story begins as that of an assassin-for-hire who was eventually put to rest by the Lin Kuei after failing to compete against Scorpion during the events of the first game. After this, his remains were shipped to Shang Tsung, who resurrected Sub-Zero as an undead revenant. This did not remove Sub-Zero’s free will, however, and he instead turned against his murderers. He is back in MK11 with some new moves to help make him stronger than ever!

KOTAL KAHN

Kotal Kahn is the Emperor of Outworld and an Aztec god. Before coming to power, he was a warrior looking for a new empire to fight for after his homeland’s destruction. He came under Shao Kahn’s rule but soon overthrew him due to his cruel and merciless ways. Kotal Kahn now rules Outworld with discipline and justice, which has allowed him to reduce criminal and supernatural activity in his domain. He is back in MK11 with some new moves to help make him stronger than ever!

SHANG TSUNG

Shang Tsung is an evil sorcerer and shapeshifter who has served as the main antagonist of the Mortal Kombat series since his debut in MKII. For years, he was able to cheat death through sorcery and make deadly deals with individuals seeking power. He rules over a part of Outworld called “the Cobalt Mines”. The name refers to the blue skin tone of Shang Tsung and other denizens of his realm. He is back in MK11 with some new moves to help make him stronger than ever!

NOOB SAIBOT

Noob Saibot is a black ghostly ninja of the Netherrealm, introduced in Mortal Kombat II. He is originally an abandoned mod soul of Shao Kahn’s created due to Raiden’s attempt to destroy all evil within the emperor during events prior to MKII. Noob had taken on the identity of Bi-Han (the original Sub-Zero) prior to his death, then becoming a wraith-like older brother Kuai Liang (the original Sub-Zero who was killed by Scorpion). Noob has trained extensively to become an incredibly deadly warrior. He is back in MK11 with some new moves to help make him stronger than ever!
