Is A 144Hz Monitor Worth It?
In general, when playing games that require lots of motion such as first-person shooters or fighting games, a 144Hz monitor can have a huge impact on your experience. The benefits include reduced tearing and stuttering which can lead to a smoother overall gaming experience because the difference in smoothness between 60 FPS and 144 FPS is stunning.
However, if you are not planning to play games that require lots of motion, there is no point in buying a 144Hz monitor because the overall improvement in the gaming experience will be negligible.
